My Story
Welcome to my website! I grew up on a sustainable mini homestead in Hungary and have carried on the tradition of beekeeping in Australia. With my passion for bees and sustainability, I also have experience in food gardening and raising backyard chickens. Let me share knowledge and experience with you!
I am dedicated to promoting sustainable beekeeping practices and raising awareness about the importance of bees. Founded in 2019 as Honey n' Hair, we started as a hair salon and mini farm, but my passion for beekeeping quickly took over. Over the past five years, I focused on teaching sustainable practices to beekeepers and educating the public about human impact on the environment and the bees. I developed programs for successful backyard chicken keeping as another way to educate people on sustainable practices.
My workshops and talks have been well-received in schools and gardening clubs, and I have even been involved in research on bee mating and genetic work for the preparation of Varroa mite incursion. My mission moving forward is to continue working on genetic research and education to ensure the future of beekeeping.
